Camp Nurse Job Description

This vital position will be responsible for providing basic medical care, administering medications, and ensuring the overall health and safety of our community.

Meet Your Camp Nurse:

Our Camp Nurse is a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with extensive experience in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and preventative care. They are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our community, and are available around the clock to meet the needs of our campers and staff.

Responsibilities:

As our Camp Nurse, you will be responsible for:

Providing basic medical care and treatment to campers and staff
Administering medications and monitoring dosage schedules
Ensuring the overall health and safety of the camp community
Communicating with parents and guardians as needed
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Assisting with the management and inventory of medical supplies and equipment

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

A current RN license and certification
At least 3 years of experience in emergency medicine or pediatrics
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A current CPR certification
